KOBOLD NCW Series Capacitive Level Switches consist of a connecting head and a plug-in evaluation module, making them perfect for monitoring liquid levels in tanks.

Capacitive monitoring method

The Level Switch indicates low level when the measuring probe is not covered (empty tank) and an increased level when the medium touches the measuring probe. The plug-in evaluation module detects the change and provides a

limit value signal.

Four design options suit various applications

Single probe for standard applications

Double probe with PVDF connection for non-metallic tanks and aggressive media

Single probe with external reference tube for non-metallic tanks or media with very low dielectric constant

Single probe with split connecting head for liquid temperatures of up to 257°F (125°C)

For all models, probe length can be up to 4000mm (157.5") to suit different tank depths

No moving parts

This level switch has no mechanically moving parts, thus it is not susceptible to wear.
