KOBOLD’s rugged, compact DF Series paddle wheel flow sensor with NPN pulse frequency output is available in seven material combinations, enabling it to be used with a multitude of materials, including low-viscosity, water-based liquids and many aggressive water-based chemicals.

Accurate and reliable

Embedded in the paddle wheel is a multi-pole magnet ring. As the wheel rotates, the magnets send a DC signal into a Hall-Effect sensor, which is mounted on the device housing. Because the DC signal frequency is proportional to the paddle wheel’s rotation, ± 2.5% full-scale flow rating accuracy is ensured.

When used with the appropriate KOBOLD electronics unit, DF Series sensors can offer many additional features, including frequency output, adjustable switches, digital displays with integrated batch controllers, or totalizers.

Easy to Install

No straight run is required when installing the DF Series, making this economical flow sensor ideal for many industrial and OEM applications.
